This LED side marker light from the 1009-serie from LED Autolamps is suitable for 12-24 V systems and provides reliable visibility at both the front and rear of vehicles. The light combines the functions: rear marker light and side marker light. Thanks to its compact design with dimensions of 102x70x52 mm and flexible rubber housing, this side marker light is suitable for various applications on semi-trailers, semi-trailers and commercial vehicles. The side marker light has an open wire end with 20 cm cable and is mounted on the vehicle by surface mounting. The lens is made of acrylic for good light distribution in red, white and amber colours. With an IP67 rating, this product is protected against dust and water, and complies with CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R7 and ECE-R91 directives. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps.
