This LED side marker light from the 1005-serie from LED Autolamps is designed for vehicles with a need for reliable signalling on the side and rear. The side marker light combines the functions: rear marker light and side marker light. Thanks to its surface-mounted design and robust rubber housing, this model is suitable for applications in various vehicle environments, including semi-trailers and commercial vehicles. The light is fitted with a 20cm connection cable with open wire end and has dimensions of 193x166x66 mm. The lens is made of acrylic and finished with red, white and amber coloured light. The water- and dust-proof construction complies with IP67, while European regulations are guaranteed through CE, ECE R10, ECE R7 and ECE R91 certifications. The light is deployable within a voltage range of 12-24 V and comes with a 5-year warranty period. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
