The Horpol VC-7300 serie is designed for vehicles operating in harsh conditions. Suitable for both 12 V and 24 V systems, this LED rear light features a robust polypropylene housing and an impact-resistant polycarbonate lens. With dimensions of 451x139x74 mm and a sturdy surface mount, this model is designed for durability and stable mounting on industrial vehicles, semi-trailers and semi-trailers. This rear light combines the functions: rear light, brake lights, indicators and reversing lights. The integrated reflector function increases visibility even when the light is switched off. The open wire connector with 150 cm cable allows for flexible installation. Thanks to its IP68 rating, this LED rear light is completely dust- and waterproof. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. It came into force for new vehicle type approvals in September 2023, with full mandatory application by 2027. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
