The Horpol MB-5300 serie includes LED side marker lights designed for use as both rear marker light and side marker light. Featuring three light colours - red, white and amber - this model offers compact lighting within a robust rubber housing with an impact-resistant polycarbonate lens. Dimensions are 110x28x30 mm, making the light suitable for applications with limited mounting space. The side marker lights feature a 50 cm cable with open wire end and are suitable for vehicle electronics on both 12 V and 24 V. Thanks to surface mounting, installation is easy on various vehicle types. The version complies with the relevant European directives and is certified to CE, ECE R10, ECE R7 and ECE R91. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
