This LED side marker light from Horpol s MB-5300 serie is designed for mounting on the right side of vehicles with 12-24 V electrical systems. Thanks to the combination of red, white and amber coloured LEDs, the light serves both as a rear marker light and side marker light. With compact dimensions of 139x38x48 mm, this side marker light is suitable for applications with limited installation space. The housing is made of rubber and the lens consists of impact-resistant polycarbonate. The light is equipped with a 50 cm cable with open wire end for direct connection. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
