Omschrijving

ECCO ESG ’s LED R10 flashing light amber (EB6362A) is a compact, flashing light that provides clear signalling in situations where visibility is essential. With its clear amber coloured light and flashing light function, this light immediately catches the eye, making it particularly suitable for use on forklifts and similar material handling equipment. Thanks to its wide voltage range of 12 to 80 Volts, the flashing light can be used on a wide variety of vehicles. The housing and lens are made from robust polycarbonate, ensuring a sturdy and durable construction. With an IP69K protection class, the light is resistant to dust, moisture and high-pressure cleaning, enabling it to continue functioning reliably even under demanding conditions. The round black housing has compact dimensions of 99 x 58 x 73 mm and is securely mounted as a surface-mounted unit using a 3-bolt mounting system, with a centre distance of 86 mm. The flashing light features an open wire end with a 40 cm cable length for easy connection. The product is CE and ECE-R10 certified and therefore complies with the applicable requirements for electromagnetic compatibility. With a 5-year warranty, TRALERT offers you long-term certainty regarding the quality and reliability of this flashing light.

EU legislation

ECE R65 — the rule behind every warning light.

ECE R65 is the European standard that determines whether a rotating or flashing beacon is road-legal. It defines luminous intensity, flash rate, colour and mechanical endurance. Without an R65 mark, a beacon is not allowed on a public road anywhere inside UNECE territory — and insurers routinely refuse claims on vehicles carrying non-approved warning lights.

ECE R10 — electromagnetic compatibility for vehicle electronics.

R10 is the reason a cheap LED strip can make a truck's ABS throw faults. It regulates how much electrical noise a lamp is allowed to emit, and how much external interference it has to tolerate. Every lamp destined for a European road carrying a CE mark also needs an R10 stamp — the two are not the same.

ADR — lighting rules for dangerous-goods transport.

ADR is the European agreement governing the international carriage of dangerous goods by road. Annex B, Part 9 contains the electrical-installation rules that a lamp on an ADR-rated vehicle must meet. It is stricter than ordinary road-vehicle standards — a lamp fitted to a tanker carrying flammable liquid has to survive electrical and mechanical conditions an ordinary delivery truck never sees.
