This LED side marker light from Horpol s MB-4200 serie is designed for use on the right side of vehicles operating on 12-24 V installations. The side marker light combines a red and white lens and fulfils the function behind marker lights. Thanks to its robust rubber housing and impact-resistant polycarbonate lens, this model offers protection against mechanical impacts. With an IP68 rating, this luminaire is dust- and waterproof, suitable for long-term exposure to demanding conditions. The light complies with CE, ECE-R10 and ECE-R7 regulations. The open wire end connector and 23 cm long cable make integration into existing electrical systems easy. Mounting is via surface mounting, at a size of 53x99x44 mm. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
