Designed for vehicles with a 12 V voltage range, this LED rear light from the Fristom VC-2700 serie features a 5-PIN bayonet connection. Its compact dimensions of 200x130x50 mm make this model suitable for surface mounting, especially on 12V semi-trailers and other commercial vehicles. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate, which contributes to high impact resistance and protection against external influences. The rear light combines the functions: rear light, brake lights, indicators, reversing lights and licence plate lights. This model complies with multiple ECE regulations, including ECE R10, R3, R7, R6, R23 and R4, and is CE certified. The protection rating IP68 indicates that the rear light is fully dust- and waterproof, supporting long-term operation in harsh conditions. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
