Omschrijving

The SIM-SA VC-7102 is part of the VC-7100 serie and is designed as an LED rear light for applications on vehicles with a 12-24 V electrical system. Thanks to its robust housing made of polypropylene and a lens made of PMMA, this luminaire is suitable for external mounting, complying with IP67 for water and dust resistance. The surface-mount design makes integration on a variety of vehicles easy. This LED rear light combines the functions: rear light, brake light, indicator light, dynamic indicator light, fog light, reverse light and licence plate light. In addition, the fixture features reflector, fog lights and licence plate lights according to the specified light functions. The VC-7102 complies with several ECE regulations, including ECE-R10, R3, R4, R6, R7, R23, R38 and R91, underlining its suitability for use on public roads. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
