Omschrijving

The SIM-SA VC-7102ASS2 from the VC-7100 serie is a multifunctional LED rear light for vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V. The luminaire is suitable for mounting on the right side of semi-trailers and other vehicles in the road transport segment. This LED rear light combines the functions: rear light, brake light, indicator light, dynamic indicator light, fog light, reverse light and licence plate light. The housing is made of polypropylene, with a lens made of PMMA, which contributes to its impact resistance and durability. The IP67 rating indicates full dust-tightness and protection against immersion. The rear light is approved in accordance with several ECE directives, including ECE R10, R3, R4, R6, R7, R23, R38 and R91. Proper operation is further supported by the use of an ASS2 connector, which offers compatibility with various vehicle systems. Mounting is via surface mounting, with dimensions of 356x147x73 mm to be observed. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
