The SIM-SA VC-7112 is part of the VC-7100 serie and is an LED rear light designed for installation on vehicles powered by 12-24 V. Its durable construction with a polypropylene housing and a PMMA lens makes this model suitable for use in demanding environments. With dimensions of 507x147x73 mm, the VC-7112 is aimed at applications where robustness and visibility are required. This LED rear light includes the function: reflector. Surface mounting facilitates installation, and because no fixed cable is included, the product offers connection flexibility. The design is dust- and waterproof to IP67, ensuring long-term protection against penetration of dust and water. The VC-7112 complies with a range of certifications, including CE, ECE-R10 and various other ECE regulations relevant to vehicle lighting. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
