The Horpol MB-1012RA from the MB-1000 serie is an LED side marker light with an angled stem, designed for mounting on trucks and semi-trailers. This side marker light combines the function behind marker lights in a robust rubber housing with a polycarbonate lens. The emitted light colour is amber and red, suitable for clear marking of the vehicle outline. Thanks to surface mounting and the open wire end with 50 cm cables, installation is easy. The LED side marker light functions within a 12-24 V supply voltage and features certifications CE, ECE R10, ECE R7 and ECE R6-CAT5. The IP68 rating guarantees protection against dust and long-term immersion in water. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
