The Horpol MB-1022RA is part of the MB-1020 serie and is an LED side marker light designed for applications on trucks and semi-trailers. This version features an angled stem design and offers a combination of amber coloured and red light. The housing is made of rubber for high shock resistance, while the polycarbonate lens provides additional protection against external influences. Thanks to its IP68 rating, this LED side marker light is dust-proof and resistant to long-term immersion in water. The CE, ECE R10, ECE R7 and ECE R6-CAT5 certifications ensure that the product meets relevant European requirements for electromagnetic compatibility and vehicle lighting. The open wire end and 50cm cable length allow flexible surface mounting within a 12-24V electrical installation. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
