The Horpol MB-1013A from the MB-1000 serie is an LED side marker light with a recognisable design inspired by Swedish style. This version features an angled stem and a clear, impact-resistant polycarbonate lens . The housing is made of durable rubber material, suitable for mounting on trucks and semi-trailers in heavy use. The side marker light operates on a voltage range of 12-24 V and comes with an open wire end and a cable length of 50 cm. Thanks to its IP68 rating, this model is dust- and waterproof, suitable for harsh weather conditions. Furthermore, this product meets the inspection requirements according to CE, ECE-R10 and ECE-R6-CAT5. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
