The Horpol MB-1020 serie LED side marker light is designed for mounting on trucks, semi-trailers and other commercial vehicles. This model, the MB-1020RM, acts as a rear marker light and contributes to visibility and road safety. The housing consists of impact-resistant polycarbonate, suitable for intensive use in a variety of conditions. Thanks to its IP68 rating, this LED side marker light is completely dust-proof and resistant to long-term immersion in water. The light operates within a voltage range of 12-24V, allowing combination use in mixed fleets. The integrated 500cm cable offers mounting flexibility. In addition, this model complies with CE, ECE-R10 and ECE-R7 directives. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
